- Hold: Hold that breath for another 4 seconds.
- Exhale: Slowly exhale for 4 seconds.
- Hold: Hold the exhale for 4 seconds before starting the cycle again.
Repeat this cycle for a few minutes to experience a sense of calm and relaxation.
2. Alternate Nostril Breathing
This technique is known to balance the two hemispheres of the brain and promote mental clarity. Here's how to do it:
- Sit comfortably with your back straight.
- Use your right thumb to close your right nostril and inhale through your left nostril for a count of 4 seconds.
- Close your left nostril with your right ring finger and hold for 4 seconds.
- Release your right nostril and exhale for 4 seconds.
- Inhale through the right nostril, close it, and exhale through the left nostril. This completes one cycle.
3. Visualization Breathing

- Find a quiet place to sit comfortably.
- Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax.
- Imagine a place that brings you peace and joy. Breathe in the essence of that place with each inhale.

- Continue this breathing pattern while visualizing your serene place.
